The BOGE EO (Eccentric, Oilfree) series is the sole scroll compressor range in the BOGE portfolio, covering 4 to 30 kW with more than 20 variants. Up to four compressor modules can be combined within a single enclosure for higher capacities.

How scroll technology
delivers pulsation-free air

The BOGE EO series uses advanced eccentric scroll technology. Two aluminium spirals — one stationary, one moving eccentrically — mesh without contact to progressively compress air. No friction, no oil, no pulsation.

Air intake
Ambient air is drawn in at the outer edge of the two meshing scroll spirals as the eccentric spiral begins its orbit.

Progressive compression
The orbiting spiral progressively traps and compresses air into smaller and smaller crescent-shaped pockets as it moves inward.

No contact — no oil
The spirals mesh without touching, eliminating the need for oil lubrication in the compression chamber. The result is 100% oil-free air.

Pulsation-free discharge
Compressed air is discharged continuously from the centre — smoothly and without pulsation — delivering stable pressure at the point of use.

100% oil-free — Class 0
No oil enters the compression chamber at any point. The result is 100% absolutely pure compressed air that meets ISO 8573-1 Class 0 standards — without the need for downstream oil separation equipment.
Whisper-quiet operation
The non-contact scroll mechanism produces virtually no vibration and extremely low sound levels — enabling the compressor to be positioned directly at the workplace, in a laboratory or clinic, without a separate compressor room.
Minimal moving parts
Fewer moving components means fewer wear items, longer maintenance intervals and lower total operating costs. The EO series is specifically designed for continuous operation in sensitive environments where reliability is non-negotiable.

You hardly hear anything from our EO series scroll compressors even when standing right next to them. By design, they impress with their whisper-quiet, low-vibration operation. No wonder these low-maintenance models are the preferred solution wherever high-quality, oil-free compressed air is required close to the place of work, such as in hospitals or laboratories.

Our scroll compressors hold all the advantages. Thanks to a minimal number of moving parts, they stand out with extremely long maintenance intervals, which, in turn, translates into low operating and maintenance costs.
The design eliminates any friction of the aluminium screw compressors in the compression chamber, doing away with the need for oil lubrication. An additional benefit is that you don't need oil separation either to produce 100% high-quality, oil-free compressed air that meets Class 0 standards.
In the interest of longevity, every component was specifically designed to be larger than strictly necessary. A two-stage cooling concept was developed involving a first radiator stage where the louvred pipework used and the inclination of the primary surface cooler allow optimal use of the cooling airflow. Meanwhile, the aluminium finning on the secondary cooler optimises the compressed air discharge temperature.
One of the undeniable advantages of this series is its hallmark flexibility. Delivery volumes can be easily adapted to actual demand thanks to the multi-unit design, while the compact design supports smart redundancy.

Pulsation-free Class 0 air
Two aluminium spirals mesh without contact, compressing air smoothly and continuously. No pulsation, no oil contamination — the result is consistently pure compressed air meeting ISO 8573-1 Class 0 from the point of compression, with no downstream oil separation required.
Whisper-quiet & vibration-free
The non-contact scroll mechanism produces almost no vibration and extremely low sound levels — enabling the EO series to be positioned directly at the workplace, in a laboratory or clinic, without a dedicated compressor room or acoustic enclosure.
Multi-unit scalability
Up to four EO compressor modules can be combined within a single enclosure, allowing delivery volume to be precisely matched to demand. This multi-unit design also delivers built-in redundancy — if one module requires servicing, the others continue operating.
Two-stage cooling
A two-stage cooling concept maximises efficiency and longevity. Louvred pipework and an inclined primary surface cooler optimise cooling airflow in the first stage, while aluminium finning on the secondary cooler controls compressed air discharge temperature.
Intelligent control — BOGE connect
With BOGE connect, compressed air management is taken to a new level — from automated commissioning via QR code to data-driven efficiency optimisation and remote monitoring. Future-ready connectivity as standard.
