Installation

Complete installation
across every discipline

Tranco Tech handles the full installation of every BOGE system we supply — from the moment the equipment arrives on site to the moment it is ready to run. Our BOGE-trained engineers manage all aspects of the installation, coordinating mechanical, electrical, pipework, and civil works as a single integrated scope.

Installation by Tranco Tech is not optional for warranty purposes. It is the mechanism through which the BOGE warranty is activated and the equipment is registered. Every installation is carried out to BOGE factory standard and fully documented in the handover record.

Mechanical installation
Equipment positioning, base plate installation, anti-vibration mounting, alignment, and mechanical connections between all system components including compressors, dryers, receivers, and filtration.
Electrical installation
Power supply connections, motor wiring, control panel connections, and integration with site electrical infrastructure. All electrical work is carried out in accordance with the BOGE installation manual and local regulations.
🔧
Compressed air pipework
Connection of compressed air distribution pipework from the plant room outlet, including all inter-equipment connections, isolation valves, pressure gauges, and condensate drainage points.
🏗
Civil works
Any required civil works including equipment bases, wall penetrations for pipework and exhaust ducting, and plant room preparation — carried out based on customer requirement and agreed scope.
Important
Installation by Tranco Tech is required to activate the BOGE warranty. Equipment installed by any other party will not carry a valid warranty.

As Sri Lanka’s only compressed air specialist authorised by BOGE Kompressoren, Tranco Tech handles all commissioning and warranty registration for the equipment we supply — directly with BOGE Kompressoren Germany.

Every installation is registered under the customer’s name with the specific unit serial number, securing the full 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery.

Commissioning

Factory-standard commissioning
before we hand over anything

Commissioning is the process of verifying that the installed system operates exactly as designed, under real operating conditions, before the customer takes ownership. Tranco Tech follows the BOGE commissioning procedure to the letter — every check, every measurement, every test — and then runs the plant for a full week before signing off.

1
Pre-start checks
All checks specified in the BOGE Operator’s Manual and the handover document Section 3.1 are completed before the system is energised for the first time. Oil levels, belt tension, valve positions, electrical connections, pipe integrity, and safety device function are all verified and recorded.
2
Start-up sequence
The system is started following the BOGE prescribed start-up sequence — Section 3.2 of the handover document. All operational parameters are monitored during initial run-up and verified against BOGE specification: final compression temperature, operating pressure, current draw on all three phases, and system pressurisation time.
3
Normal operation verification
The system is run under load and verified against all normal operation parameters — Section 3.3. Load and unload cycling, pressure bandwidth, condensate drain operation, and air quality at the outlet are all checked and confirmed within specification.
4
One-week continuous test run
The system runs continuously for seven days under real operating conditions. This confirms long-term thermal stability, lubricant distribution, seal integrity, and consistent performance before the customer is asked to take ownership of the equipment.

5
Final inspection & commissioning record
A full post-run inspection is carried out. Commissioning data is recorded in Section 5.1 of the handover document — all electrical readings, operational parameters, and observations. Any critical observations from commissioning are documented in Section 2.4. The commissioning record is signed off in Section 5.3 by both the Tranco Tech engineer and the customer.

The Handover Document

A complete engineering record
of your installation

The Tranco Tech handover document is not a checklist. It is a comprehensive technical record of the entire project — from the initial site inspection findings through to as-built drawings, commissioning data, the full preventive maintenance schedule, warranty terms, and safety instructions. It is the single document your team needs to operate, maintain, and understand the system for its entire working life.

BOGE Warranty

12 months of manufacturer coverage —
protected by four conditions

Every BOGE product supplied and installed by Tranco Tech carries a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty from the date of delivery, covering material defects, design flaws, and workmanship. The warranty is activated at commissioning and documented in Section 7 of the handover record. Four conditions must be met throughout the warranty period to maintain full coverage.

Four conditions of warranty validity

All four conditions must be met. Failure to comply with any one of them may invalidate the warranty in full or in part.

1
Operated per BOGE manual and start-up procedure
The equipment must be operated in accordance with the BOGE Operator’s Manual and the Section 3 start-up procedure documented in the handover record. Operating outside specified parameters — over-pressure, excessive temperature, incorrect duty cycle — will void warranty coverage.
2
All preventive maintenance carried out by Tranco Tech
All preventive maintenance specified in Section 6 of the handover document must be carried out by Tranco Tech at the specified intervals. Skipped services, delayed maintenance, or maintenance carried out by any other party will void warranty coverage for any defect arising from or related to that maintenance gap.
3
Only genuine BOGE parts and approved lubricants used
Only original BOGE spare parts and BOGE-approved lubricants may be used throughout the warranty period. Use of non-original parts, unapproved lubricants, or locally sourced alternatives will void warranty coverage for any defect arising from or connected to those parts.
4
No unauthorised modifications or repairs
No modifications, repairs, or adjustments may be carried out by anyone other than Tranco Tech or a BOGE-certified engineer without prior written consent from Tranco Tech. Unauthorised intervention will void all warranty coverage.

What the warranty covers

Repair or replacement of defective parts at Tranco Tech’s discretion, for defects arising from:

Material defects Design flaws Workmanship

What the warranty does not cover

The following are excluded from warranty coverage regardless of circumstances:

Filters Oil & lubricants Belts Drain membranes Damage from misuse Neglect Abnormal operating conditions Failure to carry out scheduled maintenance
How warranty claims work

If a defect arises during the warranty period, contact Tranco Tech directly. Our engineers will assess the fault, determine whether it falls within warranty coverage, and manage the process with BOGE Kompressoren Germany for parts decisions. The repair is carried out by Tranco Tech. You deal with us — not with Germany.

Our commitment
The handover document is not paperwork. It is the engineering record your plant will rely on for the next ten years.
