Condensate
Management

Every oil-lubricated compressed air system produces condensate that must be drained reliably and disposed of safely. BOGE offers a complete solution — from automatic level-controlled drains to environmentally compliant oil-water separation.

No compressed air losses DIBt approved < 10 ppm residual oil All oil types
No compressed air losses
Electronic level-controlled drains discharge condensate precisely when needed — eliminating the costly air losses of time-controlled drains.
Safe & compliant disposal
Compressed air condensate contains oil and cannot be discharged untreated. BOGE CC-2 oil-water separators achieve <10 ppm residual oil content for compliant, environmentally safe disposal.
Automatic & low maintenance
Intelligent electronics handle condensate drainage without manual intervention, protecting downstream equipment and reducing the risk of damage from condensate accumulation.

Product 01
CCD
Series
Compact Condensate Drain
Oil-free as standard

The smart option for handling condensate. The BOGE CCD condensate drain electronically regulates the fill level, ensuring precise and reliable drainage with no pressure loss. Its compact aluminium housing and integrated stainless steel sieve make it one of the most practical condensate drains available for modern compressed air systems.

The BOGE CCD ensures that condensate is only drained when necessary. Thanks to its electronic level control, the valve opens at exactly the right moment and closes again immediately. This means that no pressure is wasted in the compressed air system. The compressor uses less energy, which increases system efficiency and reduces energy costs.
The electronic control guarantees precise and consistent condensate drainage. The system is durable and operates reliably over many millions of cycles without compromising functionality. This minimises downtime and simplifies maintenance by continuously protecting the system.
In the standard version, the CCD operates 100% oil-free, which is crucial for sensitive applications in the food industry or medical technology. This keeps the compressed air clean and significantly reduces the need for additional filters or cleaning.
An integrated stainless steel sieve prevents dirt or particles from entering the drain valve. The sieve is corrosion-resistant and easy to clean. This extends the service life of the condensate drain and significantly reduces maintenance costs.
The CCD housing is made of corrosion-resistant aluminium, and all components are designed for varying environmental conditions. Even under extreme temperatures or high humidity, the system continues to operate reliably. This robustness ensures a long service life and stable performance in industrial environments.
The small and sophisticated design of the CCD allows flexible mounting on almost all filters, dryers or compressed air lines. It can also be easily installed in confined spaces, saving space and speeding up installation.
Thanks to its durable components and protection from the stainless steel sieve, the CCD requires hardly any maintenance. Individual components can be replaced as needed without having to replace the entire system. This cuts costs and prevents production interruptions.

BOGE CC-2 Series

CC-2
Series
Oil-Water Separator
DIBt approval — worldwide use

Every oil-lubricated compressor produces condensate that must be treated before disposal. The BOGE CC-2 oil-water separator uses multiple filter stages with coated polypropylene fibres and activated carbon to reliably achieve residual oil contents at the outlet of <10 ppm — meeting international discharge requirements.

Approval by the DIBt (German Institute for Construction Technology) proves that the BOGE CC-2 oil-water separators reliably comply with legal limits for hydrocarbons when they prepare “dischargeable” water from condensate through various filter stages.
Modern fully synthetic oils — now used in an increasing number of compressors — tend to emulsify in the condensate, making conventional gravity-based oil–water separation ineffective. The BOGE CC-2 handles all compressor oils and is approved for use worldwide.
To assess the condition of the filters, the BOGE oil-water separators use two indicator displays — one per tower. The indicator in the first tower signals when the filter element is saturated, while the second diligently monitors overflow.
Downtime is always unproductive — so it’s good when it can be kept to a minimum. BOGE CC-2 units feature ergonomically designed filter cartridges that weigh less when saturated, allowing for faster removal and replacement. A second condensate drain also helps speed up maintenance. Overall, these models excel in maintenance friendliness — from type CC 5-2 onward, even with an optional automatic saturation alarm.
Environmental compliance
Discharging untreated condensate containing oil to drain is illegal in most jurisdictions and carries significant environmental and legal liability. The BOGE CC-2 ensures your compressed air system meets all applicable discharge regulations — protecting the environment and your business.

The Process

From compression to
compliant disposal

Condensate management is a three-step process. Each BOGE product handles a specific stage, ensuring safe, cost-efficient and environmentally compliant treatment from the compressor to the drain.

1
Condensate forms
During compression, moisture from ambient air condenses in filters, dryers, receivers and inter-coolers. Left undrained, it causes corrosion, contamination and equipment damage.
2
Level-controlled drainage
BEKOMAT or CCD drains detect the condensate level electronically and discharge it automatically — without releasing compressed air and without any manual intervention.
3
Oil-water separation
Condensate from oil-lubricated compressors contains oil and cannot be discharged to drain. The CC-2 oil-water separator treats the condensate, reducing residual oil to <10 ppm.
4
Compliant disposal
Treated water at <10 ppm residual oil content meets international discharge limits. The separated oil is collected for disposal through appropriate waste streams, with full regulatory compliance.

Product 03
BEKOMAT
Series
Automatic Condensate Drain
No compressed air losses

Anyone who generates compressed air will have to drain condensate. Filters, dryers and cyclone separators constantly produce condensate that requires safe disposal. The BOGE BEKOMAT performs this task with electronic level control that drains condensate precisely and automatically, eliminating costs and preventing damage.

The BOGE BEKOMAT performs condensate drainage with electronic level control that drains condensate precisely and automatically, thus eliminating costs and preventing damage. Condensate is discharged only when the chamber is full — with zero compressed air loss at any point in the cycle.
By discharging condensate only on demand, the BEKOMAT eliminates the constant compressed air losses of timer-based drains. This directly reduces energy consumption and lowers operating costs throughout the life of the system.
The BEKOMAT’s intelligent electronics deliver reliable, self-monitoring operation with alarm output for maintenance indication. The system operates automatically without manual intervention and monitors its own function continuously.
Suitable for filters, dryers, receivers, cyclone separators and inter-coolers across all compressor sizes. Six models covering a wide range of condensate volumes and connection sizes ensure the right BEKOMAT is available for any installation.
