compact S-4 series

With the fourth generation of the popular S series, not only was a significant breakthrough in energy savings achieved. The S-4 models also reach a completely new level in sound insulation and maintenance friendliness. In fact, it is a fundamentally new design — and precisely this, the constant review of proven technologies, has characterised BOGE's approach from the beginning.

Yes, we maintain our own competence centre for innovative compressor technology. What Weissach is for sports cars, Großenhain is for BOGE: this is where the heart of our compressors is developed and perfected until we are convinced of their future viability. This applies especially to the BOGE “IntegrateDrive” compressor stage, which operates with optimal efficiency and low losses and is fully encapsulated, making it virtually maintenance-free.
This is what consistent action looks like: for vibration decoupling and noise reduction, the drive motor, compressor stage and oil separator tank are elastically mounted to the base frame.
How to take a maintenance-friendly design to the extreme is demonstrated by the “Easy-Access” principle of the S-4 series: all components are easily accessible, and because access is limited to two sides, you enjoy more flexibility when installing them.
An intelligent control concept secures the considerable increase in efficiency of this series. The modular control system focus control 2.0 is considered “state of the art” because it lets you keep everything under control — with emphasis on “simple”: this overarching control, which can also function as a combined controller for up to four compressors, makes compressed air generation more efficient and reliable.

IntegrateDrive Stage
BOGE's in-house developed compressor stage — optimised for peak efficiency with minimal internal losses. Fully encapsulated for virtually maintenance-free operation across the entire service life.
SilentMount Suspension
Motor, compressor stage and oil separator tank are all elastically mounted to the base frame. This decouples vibration at source and sets a new benchmark in sound insulation for this class of compressor.
Easy-Access Design
All service points are reachable from two sides only — providing installation flexibility and ensuring that every routine maintenance task can be completed quickly, safely and without moving equipment.
Focus Control 2.0
BOGE's modular master control system manages compressed air generation intelligently — and can simultaneously control up to four compressors as a combined system, maximising efficiency and reliability across the whole installation.
Innovative Separation
Advanced oil separation technology extends service intervals and reduces consumable costs. The system is engineered to maintain separation efficiency throughout the machine's working life, not just at commissioning.
Minimal Pressure Losses
Optimised internal flow geometry and low-resistance pipework minimise pressure drop throughout the machine, reducing the energy required to deliver compressed air at the required outlet pressure.

Frequency Control (VSD)
Variable speed drive for demand-matched output. Eliminates idle losses and reduces energy consumption in installations with variable air demand profiles.
Water Cooling
Water-cooled variants for plant rooms where heat rejection to atmosphere is not practical, or where elevated ambient temperatures would affect air-cooled performance.
Master Control
BOGE focus control 2.0 enables multi-compressor management — coordinating up to four units as a single efficient system, reducing part-load running and extending component life.
