Its technologically sophisticated and at the same time maintenance-friendly construction not only makes the environmentally friendly, reliable production of oil-free compressed air particularly sustainable, but also has an immediate cost-minimising effect.

The compressor stage of the BOGE SO-3 series is an in-house development. The compressor stage features high-quality, generously dimensioned bearings and operates at 40% lower speed than its predecessors. Low compression temperatures and reduced wear increase service life, and the flow-optimised rotors guarantee — at the lowest specific power — high delivery rates as well as outstanding efficiency values!
Motors of energy efficiency class IE4 promise maximum efficiency. With an optional frequency converter, energy consumption can be reduced even further.
The highly efficient cooling system relies on extra-large coolers made of high-quality stainless steel and a cooling principle that reduces the risk of contamination by maintaining a constant water velocity. The low compressed air outlet and compression temperatures as well as effective condensate separation also contribute to high energy efficiency. To ensure cooling of the hot compressed air to a consistently low temperature, the principle “air through the pipes” applies with a constant flow velocity.
The measures for consistently vibrational and stress-technical decoupling of many components have multiple effects — noticeably reduced pulsation vibrations and significantly less wear. Not to mention the surprisingly quiet operation.

IE4 Super Premium Efficiency motors as standard — the highest energy efficiency class available. Combined with an optional frequency converter, energy consumption can be reduced even further for variable-demand applications.
Heat Recovery up to 94%
Up to 94% of the energy required for the compression process can be recovered and made available for other uses — process water heating, space heating, or other applications. A significant contribution to reducing overall energy costs.
Stainless Steel Coolers
Extra-large coolers manufactured from high-quality stainless steel, maintaining constant water velocity to reduce the risk of contamination and ensuring consistently low outlet temperatures throughout continuous operation.
Individually Configurable
From heat recovery to frequency converter to hot gas outlet for a warm-regenerating DAV-2 adsorption dryer — the SO-3 supports a wide range of configuration options for highly specific application requirements.
